Last Sunday sweet family friends Carolyn and Rose hosted a sip'n'see for Evie Claire. I absolutely loved getting to see so many Waco friends and introducing them to miss Evie. Usually at these things everyone looks forward to holding the baby. Evie was NOT having that, though, and spent the whole time crawling and playing on the floor. Here's a shot of us with our fabulous hostesses.

My lifelong friend Beth was kind enough to join us down there for a chat. She's back in Waco after several years in Austin, and I look forward to seeing more of her when we're in town!
